Our Weather

Oh michty me, what a spell of wet weather we've been having here in the North East corner of Scotland. It's the worst since records began. So much so, I have just been interviewed on national radio about this, and put a positive slant on it. It's a good job we have a sense of humour living in the north. I'm using my time to build an Ark whilst hoping for drier days. That said, our skin is waterproof and I actually enjoy walking in the rain if I'm wearing the correct clothing, it's quite exhilarating. Ever the optimist, I'll have my sunglasses at the ready.
Despite the dreich weather, Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire offer so much to see and do.
The City has amazing architecture and history as well as marvellous museums and theatres. Venture out into the Shire (not Tolkien's) and you'll be amazed at the variety of experiences waiting for you. From incredible castles, beautiful beaches, spectacular scenery and coastline, wonderful whisky distilleries and so much more.
Just remember - today's rain is tomorrow's whisky!
